Furniture Installation

Updating your office with new office furniture is always an exciting time. You're creating a more efficient, productive, and comfortable workspace for your employees. At Turnkey Workplace Services, we will not only help you find the office furniture that’s right for you, but also manage the logistics of the install and help your office transformation go as smoothly as possible.

Installation

Determining whether your building is Union or Non-Union is an important first step. If it is a Union building, your options may be limited on what labor is allowed to work within the space. If it’s not, you’ll have more flexibility regarding who’ll facilitate the installation. No matter if it is Union or Non-Union, Turnkey Workplace Services can oversee the project with the appropriate labor required.

Hours of Installation

Some buildings are very lax about when deliveries can be made and work can be performed, and others adhere to strict schedules (usually before and after working hours). We will coordinate with the property manager of your building to arrange convenient scheduling to limit the affect on other tenants.

Loading Dock

Whether your building has a loading dock and/or a service elevator (if your office isn’t on the first floor) will play an important role in how your installation proceeds. Some buildings require that you schedule the loading dock and/or service elevator in advance with the property manager. Refurnishing an office is all about effectively managing the details, let Turnkey Workplace Services manage the process to be sure no detail is missed.

Electrical and Data

When you’re installing new office furniture, it’s essential that you carefully consider your electrical and data needs. After all, you want to get your office back up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible. You’ll need to schedule a licensed electrician to hardwire your units and a data technician to run all your cabling. Turnkey Workplace Services will work closely with the electrician to ensure you are utilizing your furniture to it's maximum capacity.

Certification of Insurance

Many buildings require that everyone who executes work within their building must produce their Certificate of Insurance (COI). This is another critical detail that can easily be overlooked. Turnkey Workplace Services will work directly with the property manager to provide a Certificate of Insurance.
