Turnkey Workplace Services has an exciting opening for a Showroom Sales/Support Associate to join our team!

This position presents an immersive opportunity to learn and provide essential operational and sales support for both our regional and national accounts. Initially, this person will be trained as an account executive, responsible for the daily sales operations of our showroom in Troy, NY.

Currently, Turnkey Workplace Services is on a growth trajectory and is expanding its presence both locally and nationally. This position will provide you with the opportunity of supporting the national sales team while also working with our existing clients and their ongoing projects. While supporting the national sales team, you will be learning the intricate details and processes of servicing large national accounts on a project basis. The goal of this support is for you to learn the multiple lines of services and products that Turnkey Workplace Services offers to our customers and utilize this knowledge to elevate your role into a Senior Support or Sales Executive position. Each day will vary with a combination of hands-on and project-focused needs and require a strong discipline in organization and critical thinking.

The daily scope of work for this position includes, but is not limited to:

  • Assist clients and walk-in traffic within the showroom; Maintain relationships with existing local clients i.e., checking in, following up on inquiries/leads, offering new arrivals.

  • Perform daily operational duties to ensure the store exceeds sales, customer experience targets and maintains brand consistency

  • Consistently deliver outstanding customer service - meeting client needs, offering guidance, and managing customer issues

  • Generate Leads by posting inventory pictures and descriptions on social media accounts, including Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace; Keeping track of inquiries/leads online, in Email, text message, and on the telephone

  • Assist with day-to-day projects within the showroom i.e. Coordinate delivery with customers and warehouse personnel

  • Oversee showroom floor including product layout/display on the floor, replacement from warehouse and price tags.


  • Sales and/or Furniture experience is preferred; Experience with cross selling, upselling and nurturing leads would be “a plus”

  • Prior E-commerce experience preferred

  • Ability to represent our brand with a modern image and professionalism

  • Microsoft Office/Excel skills needed

  • Professional and patient communication skills are needed to develop long-term relationships with customers. You will need to guide customers through the furniture buying process in the showroom, on the phone and through emails

  • Eagerness to identify and develop business strategies to improve sales, attract customers and support new and existing accounts would be an advantage


  • $40,000 - $50,000 (based on experience)

  • Furniture Sales Within the Showroom Will Be Subject To Commission
